I recently shared about a Legacy Motherhood Session at Aldridge Gardens in Hoover, Alabama. This Legacy Motherhood Session was a different take on that cross generational session. Brendt from She Gave it A Go gathered her mom and her adult siblings to create heirloom photos they could enjoy forever. We used the time to document the precious relationship between each sibling and their mom. We also took pictures of them all together, with just the siblings, and an individual image of Brendt’s mom. This session was an opportunity for them to celebrate who they are to do and show love to the one who helped them get there.
The best part of this session was watching these adults in their relationship with each other. The friendship, love, and humor between them is a goal for my daughters in adulthood. They were genuinely comfortable with each other, laughing easily and making it such a fun time.
Hoover Motherhood Session Details
Legacy Motherhood Sessions are on May 19th at Aldridge Gardens in Hoover, AL. Sessions are 15 minutes long, come with 10 digital images, plus a fine art 4×6 deckled edge print in a gold floating frame. These sessions are for mothers of ALL ages. They are an opportunity to celebrate every mom in our life and recognize the impact they have on us as adults. Though the gardens were beautiful during Brendt’s session, I can not wait until May 19th. Aldridge Gardens will be filled with their famous hydrangea blooms. It will make a perfect session setting absolutely dreamy.
Whether you are focusing on your mom and siblings, or your mom, mother in law, and children, they are a chance to spend quality time with the lady who made you what you are today.
