After we finished the Martin’s formal indoor session, we went outside to photography a casual in-home session. They changed clothes and we headed outside to the backyard to play games, make memories, and have fun! The Martin’s backyard is a dream and holds so many fun memories for this family.
Activities for your in-home family photo session
The best part of the casual in-home session is that you see the kids the excitement as their parents joined them. We were able to spend time on the swing, on the trampoline, and on the zipline. This backyard is a child’s dream and it was a joy to capture some of these memories.
I loved these moments of Lisa and Curt joining in the games with their kids. Life often seems really busy and I think it makes us as parents cherish these simple family moments even more.
Because Lisa choose a full session, we were able to spend time both indoors and outdoors during their session. I love the mix of casual and formal in their full gallery. Their full gallery of images tells the story of who they are- both the formal and the casual. It creates a clear vision of their day to day life- essentially what makes their family. The at-home session created a relaxed environment that allowed everyone to feel more comfortable and capture more genuine expressions. Bringing the session outside in the end brought out the fun with bold colors and activity.
